PGK:lle on myönnetty arvostettu GEO -sertifikaatti

PGK:n hakemus ja auditointi tuottivat toivotun lopputuloksen, seuralle myönnettiin 16.8.2024 arvostettu yleiseurooppalainen GEO -tunnustus. Suomessa GEO sertifikaatin saaneita kenttiä on kymmenkunta aiemmin.

Ote raportista;

“A Beautifully green and lush links type golf course located between two rivers, offering a great place to play golf, and come together with local nature. Diverse birdlife is enhanced by a plentiful planting of trees that support local nature. Lots of work has been done to increase the volume of meadows and insect life. The par 3 course is free for all, and during the verification visit it was being very well used. I am looking forward to seeing the meeting minutes of the environmental committee, as well as the installation of the irrigation software.”
